Decorating Nursery In ladybug theme, need ideas!?

Ladybugs are so easy to draw, though! Why don't you practice drawing some on a piece of paper. When you get some nice ones (and get good at doing it), pin it to white crib bedding to get an idea of how you want to place them. Then, with a pencil or water-washable marker (you can get this at fabric stores -- they wash right out, and are used for marking darts and things), sketch in your bug. Then, draw it on with fabric paints, and you've got a one-of-a-kind bedding that will absolutely safe.

For a little lamp (handy for late nights rocking baby to sleep or feeding), you can apply wooden "tulips" to the base and paint them any way you like. I think adding a border of flowers would be super-cute, and it goes with lady-bugs naturally. I'm also fond of the "turn the ceiling into a blue sky" kind of thing, but maybe that's too cliche.

Oh, if you find you can't draw lady bugs, look for some fabric with cute ladybugs. Iron it onto a backing (fusing? interfacing? I'm sorry, I can't remember what it's called), cut it out, and then finish the edges with one of those edge-finishing fluids. You can put this on dressers, walls, changing tables. I wouldn't put it anywhere baby can reach it, because it might be a choking hazard. So don't attach it to bedding, until you sew it very securely on (like with a zig-zag stitch).

It's easy to make fabric borders on a blanket, too, as long as you can find a cute fabric.

Nursery/Room Decor for boy & girl...?

The farm thing sounds cute - anything animal related, forest, rain forest, frogs etc . . . is good for a co-ed room.

I have boy/girl twins in the same room. We have Winnie-the-Pooh - my daughter's stuff is classic Pooh and my son has the Disney Pooh. The walls are a bluish-purple and they have medium-brown wood furniture.

Baby Bedding Ideas and Nursery Themes?

This site is awesome for baby bedding and accessories. The patterns much modern than what you find at stores. (No cutesy animals...) And you can't beat the price. Its really nice quality and 100% cotton. (Beware: It wrinkles, the valances are the worst, I starched them to get them to not look droopy)

I have the Ladybug Parade collection for our little girl.
